Executive Chairman

Frank Terranova has had a long and successful corporate career in the resources space with a particular concentration on the gold sector. Following early roles as group financial controller at Amcor Limited and General Manager (Treasury) at Normandy Mining Limited, where he oversaw a multibillion dollar gold and commodity financial risk portfolio, he has served in executive and board capacities on several ASX gold and resources companies. Frank has an established track record of delivering strong returns for shareholders, extensive experience in the mining industry as well as deep expertise in capital markets, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Frank was Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of Allied Gold Mining Plc from 2008 to 2012, leading the company from a market capitalization of approximately A$80m to a takeover at a valuation of A$560m.


Chief Executive Officer

Tom de Vries is a mining engineer with over 30 years’ experience, including 10 years in General Manager roles. He has extensive Victorian gold mining experience from Walhalla, Western Mining (WMC) Bendigo, Stawell Gold Mines, Bendigo Mining, Costerfield mine and more recently as Acting Process Manager for the A1 Consolidated Maldon process plant. Tom has experience in handheld development, handheld stoping as well as broad mechanised mining experience in narrow gold and large metalliferous orebodies such as Mount Isa Copper. Tom was the leading officer in the permitting, tendering, construction of Bendigo Mining and commissioning of both Costerfield and Cobar Consolidated Silver mines. He is fully experienced in single mine organisations and also in Tier 1 companies such as North Broken Hill (Elura) and Mount Isa Mines. He has worked and is certified as a Mine Manager in four States. He has also recently completed a finance focused Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Deakin University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).


Non-Executive Director

Mr Philip Amery has joined the Board as Non-Executive Director. Mr Amery is an experienced capital markets advisor and private banker. He holds BA and LLB degrees and is a graduate of the Financial Asset Management and Engineering Program of the Swiss Finance Institute. Mr Amery currently serves as the Chairman of Metgasco Limited, and was formerly a Non-Executive Director of Chesser Resources Limited.


Non-Executive Director

Ian King has in excess of 25 years’ experience providing investment banking and corporate advisory services to a broad range of domestic and international clients spanning most sectors and industries, including financial, resources and technology sectors, and including State and Commonwealth Governments. He has strong general management skills and transaction execution and marketing capability developed from over 15 years’ experience with ING Bank NV and its predecessor organisations in Australia and the UK (including Baring Brothers & Co). He has managed public takeovers, asset acquisitions and divestments, corporate reconstructions and capital raisings for both mid-cap companies and some of Australia’s largest corporations. Mr King is currently a Director of BBB Capital in Sydney.


Non-Executive Director

Matthew Gill is a mining engineer with over 30 years’ experience. He has a strong technical, operational and executive management background; having worked as an underground miner, mine planning engineer, supervisor, general manager and managing director in Australia, Papua New Guinea, India, Ghana and Bolivia. He holds three First Class Metalliferous Mine Manager’s Certificates of Competency and has been instrumental in the successful development of three gold mines (Porgera, Beaconsfield and Ballarat). He is a three-time winner of the Australian Mine Manager of the Year Award and received the AusIMM Leadership Award in 2008. Previously, he was Group Chief Operating Officer for Singapore-listed LionGold Corp. Also, he has worked for Castlemaine Goldfields, Rio Tinto, WMC, Placer Pacific and Renison Goldfields.  Matthew also provides technical, leadership and risk management consultancy advice to industry, including Myanmar’s largest gold mine and is a lecturer for mining engineering undergraduates at Monash University.


Non-Executive Director

Lord Wellesley is a highly experienced banking and capital markets executive with board and notfor-profit expertise, comprising three decades of senior roles within tier-one institutions in London and Hong Kong, working with clients in the resources, energy and funds management sectors. In addition, Christopher has An extensive network of senior, key relationships across the UK capital markets as well as demonstrated capital raising, corporate and financial markets expertise and a deep commitment and involvement in a range of private philanthropic activities.


Company Secretary

Mr Kelly is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years’ international experience in the areas of external and internal audit,
risk management and compliance, treasury and corporate finance across a range of industry sectors including mining, infrastructure, property development and banking and finance. Mr Kelly has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for companies listed on the ASX, TSX and the London Stock Exchange.
